This large earthwork is sited on Hazelhurst Fell above Bleasdale & is over one mile in length.

On the old OS maps it is shown as 'ancient earthwork'.

Does anyone have any information on this structure.

    Ey up John! Wink

Hope you're alright! Soz I've been a bit quiet over the last few weeks. I've been in the Scottish hills gerrin wet and avoided all things technological as much as I could, aswell as sniffling with an effing flu that laid me flat-on-mi-back for half the time!

Not come across it misself - but then it is over the border! Wink I'll have a look thru some texts in the next day or 2 & see if I can find owt about it. I assume you've waded thru some of the Cheshire & Lancashire Transactions indices?

    All the best - Paul
