    It turns out that what I thought was a new barrow discovery, above the badger stone on Ilkley moor, is actually a rediscovery. As it appears on the 'up to AD 1500' maps of the area. Pics available...

    I've just about unpacked mi library and am having a route-round to see if there's any references in the "West Yorks Archaeo Survey" index for any further info. Have you emailed Gavin Edwards & asked him about the place?

    Can you find owt else about this place? It is on the archaeo's map, but it seems they're silent on the matter.
