....... I thought I'd join to see what I could learn.

The full story is in my first post, which I assume is easily found for you veterans!?
If not I'll see about editing a link in. (Thought I'd discovered something - but haven't!)  Sad

    Hi All! Mine's a pint!

Hi Stu and welcome. I think 'wine' might be the tiple for most on here, but not really for me - I prefer a pint of the amber nectar !

Thanks! I do like a glass of Rioja or Merlot quite often. Very partial to a good malt whisky & Clitheroe is excellent for real ales at a few of it's pubs. Cider on a hot summer's day can't be beaten & on a thirsty day I like Peroni too.
    Easily please I am!
I don't do Facebook so this forum may now have tumbleweed blowing through it for me, but I had to chime in on the Worsaw Hill thread.

If you do ever end up in Downham it would be worth the fairly easy walk to Pendleton to the Swan With Two Necks. We were in last year and they had five ciders on tap!
I had a pint of one that looked like pure apple-juice, after the first I thought  Shocked  that's got a kick - what % is it? Nearly 7 was the answer  What a Face
My other half had a couple of halves of another one at the same time, hers were just over 8%  drunken
