The walk will take about 2 hours and should be reasonably easy going visiting a number of sites including, wells, crosses and, also the Bronze-Age burial site of Jeppe Nave's grave. Everyone is very welcome. Hope it is a fine, sunny day.

Just to say that we had a fine, dry morning for our walk around Nick of Pendle with Maxine and Wayne Dixon (John Dixon's) family and many other familiar faces. Walked to Jeppe Knaves Grave, a Bronze Age cairn, passing numerous bell pits, glacial erratic boulders, marker stones, shepherds' shelter formed from ancient rocks and the Pendle Cross (only the base remaining). Bit boggy underfoot and a couple of horrid ladder stiles to negotiate, but otherwise a fairly resonable walk over Wiswell Moor, with stunning views in all directions.

Here's one of the photographs that I took of Jeppe Knaves Grave, a Bronze-Age burial site on Wiswell Moor near Nick of Pendle.
