The event will take place on 16th, 17th & 18th September (Fri, Sat, Sun) 2011.

Camp: In the wooded area above Jenny Brown Point where there is a stone circle and fire pit overlooking the bay.
Good camping at Gibraltar Farm or free camping in the nearby woods or on Jack Scout.

MEET UP; Friday 11am 16th September 2011 at Pub in Silverdale

Hi John, Where are you thinking of camping? I need to drive my car to the camp site, I'm not lugging my gear up hill and down dale even though the idea of sitting in the woods by a roaring fire sounds appealing! I will be going to Gibralter farm probably and will be booking so if anyone else wants me to book them in let me know.

I'm still up for it John boy but Lenny sez he's not happy with sleeping in the cold and damp.I told him that I would look after him and take him to the pub and feed him crisps if he was good and that seemed to settle him. I've been trying to get out in my tent all summer, all I needed were a few days of sun and a decent temperature, no chance, general misery! its the first time in four years that I haven't made it into the wilds.

One of my favorite sites is Clachtoll Beach on the north west coast of Scotland, truly amazing with loads of archeo stuff just laying around, magic!
John, should I contact the Gib farm site and book for us, I have'nt heard from anyone else yet?

Yep I'll be going and will try get a location on the campsite. Hope the weather gets better though .....my forecast says showery but sun spells for 17th. 18th cold with rain threatening...might not arrive here but could do in that area, 19th showery and windy but sun spells ......still never mind the weather eh......

Just spent all morning writing to various about vandalism ont Moors......if I carry on like this I'll need a break by then will have writers cramp...

Wish I had time to go for a walk just found out Swintons are taking money from me without my permission so taken all day to go through the same roundabout to stop them thieving from my bank........might know the toothless fat cats at the FSA authorise this dealership! To think our taxes pay the big salaries for these folk to do nowt but wonder how to spend all their ill gotten gains....

So I will go to Silverdale but which pub is it....guess I'll just have to wander round em all to find out, there is the main one at the top of the road that leads down to the sands, guess he meant that one, dya think he might already be there?

That is a strange request Ray. Why would anybody be against protecting ancient sites?

I'm not against protecting these ancient sites, but The Guardians of Ikley Moor have now accomplished what they set out to do. There wont NOW be any modern carving/graffiti on any of the stones on the moor, so its time to move on now. They are bombarding people with e-mails that just wont stop. I have had to stop them on Facebook. They are all hyped-up. Move on now - there are other things to discuss. Sorry to be blunt, but they are using Paulus. Sorry, it has to be said, I don't want them doing that.

Tempest, it's time to stop these silly games and multiple ID's. We have known what you were doing all along, but decided to humour you because you have been unwell. Your fantasies are now becoming your reality, and you need to get help in dealing with that. I recognised that photo to begin with. Don't feel bad about this. Malarkey gets out of hand sometimes, and I'm sure those going to Silverale will enjoy it. My real worry is you, and that fact that all you are doing is prove everybody right who speaks of you demeaningly. Roll back, chill out, and take some proper medication. Don't bother trying any 'what's all this nonsense' bluster, please! It's never going to stick now. Phraseology is better than a fingerprint. It's been a giggle but it's run it's course. Your well being is more important to me than the bloody Pyramids and all the old stones on earth.
