    BBC today 2nd October 2010.

As from 2day Druidism is now classed as an authorised religion in the UK.

Druid groups can now gain CHARITY STATUS

Expect sharp rises in the cost of being a PAYGOON!

Will NUDISM go the same way as Druidry ?

EDUCATIONAL NOTE: In the Old British Language (Celtic Culture) a 'goon' is an area of unfertile land caused by poor human management. In Northern Britain such places are refered to as moorland.

A move to co-operative sustainable permaculture and NATURAL SPIRITUALITY is where the future lies NOT paygoonism and the folly it invites.

    GLOBAL CHANGE 1

    Listen.

The report does say - "The Charity Commission has accepted that druids' worship of natural spirits could be seen as religious activity."
which in itself doesn't say it is a religion but it 'could' seen as a religious activity.

There is hope for all the Jedi Knights & Star trekers then?

Religions as a whole should either all be recognised or all abolished.

For me - Religion is just a cults excuse for taking advantage of the vunerable.

    I'm with you Mikki,

    All religion is fraud

Pity people confuse spirituality with religion

Safety in numbers, and the fear of been alone.
They can re-inforce their belief structure in unison as well.
Then control becomes far easier with herds of believers.
They can then group together to defend their belief system, and even kill those who don't accept the laws as facts, sounds a bit like some other forums?

Druidism - now a UK official religion Empty ONE FOR THE POT OF PURE SPIRITUALITY

Post  Guest Sun Oct 03, 2010 9:04 pm

    DREAMTIME ~ AWAKENING

‘A lightness, soundless, formless plenum, filled with both the primeval consciousness that is the womb of all mind and spirit in the cosmos with the fluctuating energy out of which all comes to exist in space and in time. There is a no-thing in this cosmic fullness and yet there is everything in potential. All that was, is and will be is here in formless, soundless, lightless, quiescent motion.

The plenum is now no longer formless; its surface is one of unimaginable complexity and coherence; its depth is fully in-formed. The cosmic proto-consciousness that endowed the primeval plenum with cosmic-creative potentials becomes a fully articulated cosmic consciousness – it becomes and therefore IS … AWAKEN …

… The wise one stirred from his resting place by the sacred spring to be greeted by Dawn displaying her first mantle of purple against the indigo of the receding night. Refreshed by the life-giving waters he lovingly tied a strip of fine linen from his shirt to a branch of an overhanging bush then made his way up the narrow path to that high place most revered by his forebears.’

    Getting shirty with the trees
    Hanging linen in the breeze,
    Nor abaft the breeze profane
That marked it with a shitten stain.
    Fluctuating energy
    Comes in fits and starts,
    Elbow grease and industry
    Wash away the farts.

Could the above line ever be applied to the author of the above low & vulgar ditty ?

    N.B.

One asked for comments from OTHERS

Yet I supose this must be expected from such who hone their poetic skills on the back of shithouse doors

'VOLENTAE NON FIT INJURA' as they say

PS: Some need to consider their Latin & not refer to cheap Latin quotes found in paygoonland Wikigoon - It is the mark of the s*** to be precise - back to the schoolroom my 'poetic' friend ....

I've gotta be honest John, Dave's poem tickled me. Rolling Eyes I quite liked it I'm afraid (it's that Yorkshire gene that shuffles betwixt sacred & profane without thought)

Dave - what was that poem about politicians you told us? Stick it on-line mate. Mebbe we could have our own 'Poetry' section, where contrasts from Blake to Bernard Manning can unfold!

I note from the above that you have started on the cider early today Mr Exotic Druid - good for you, it will do you a world of good.

Can't wait to start next seasons pressing

Drinking pure natural cider puts one in a jovial and friendly mood - an aid to fine company

The true cider drinker sleeps like a top - no morning jitters or hangovers

Pure cider is the Aqua Vita (water of life) - puts years on your life and promotes hair growth - as every druid knows (except one)

    joy of joys
