HOW TO GET THERE:
NICK OF PENDLE TO 'WHEEL OF THE YEAR STONE'
Walk down the Sabden road to enter a trackway on L opposite Parsley Barn gateway. Walk up a short way to take path on R as track veers to the L. The path leads one down to cross a trackway & on down to meet with a mettled trackway. Just before meeting with the lower trackway (at a point of about 100 yards) look over to the left to see a large stone in the moorland grasses.
Deerstones Cragg can be seen up ahead.
Here you will find a large stone with 8 cup-marks that form a circle.
