New (?) cup marked stone @ near Nine Stones close. ?

whilst out wandering with our very own mr Megalithix and his good lady Mikki taking in the sites on Harthill moor i came across what i think is a previously unknown cup marked stone in a wall by the circle.
The stone has at least 2 very well preserved cup marks though photographs later suggest their might be more.
The stone is located by a gate way on top of a wall at SK2255 6281.
Anyone have any previous knowledge of this stone. ?

Wowwww. Mr MegaDread's mega find. That photo has come out really well considering the weather that day. Excellent stuff!

P.S. Somebody needs to tell the landowner what else he has got there before it gets destroyed. Might stick it on HR what do ya think?

Groovy stuff Geoff! Pity the light wasn't better on the day. If Stubob lives nearby, p'raps he can give it a visit when conditions are better. (grovel - beg - grovel!)

...And please note the wall in the background on one of the photos (with trees behind). Tis just over the wall where, according to Barry Marsden's Burial Mounds of Derbyshire (1977), the remains of a prehistoric cairn are located - just where a mass of rocks are scattered abaat!

Did this cup-marked stone once live in the cairn? 'Probably' (said the Carlsberg drinker)...

P.S. Somebody needs to tell the landowner what else he has got there before it gets destroyed. Might stick it on HR what do ya think?

Next time up there i'll try to have a word with the farmer just in case he rebuilds the wall, wouldn't want it being incorporated outta sight or even worse being broken up.

Heritage Reaction!. There is also the cairn that needs protecting from further damage.
