Can anybody help me locate some stones please?

They may be nothing but y' never know.
While on the train the other day, while gazing out of the window I spotted two large upright stones (around 9-10 feet tall, I think!). These were in a field next to the railway line between Appleby and Kirby stephen (more near to Appleby).

I have searched google earth and Ordnance survey but can't find them.....please help.

    Hi Mikki and fellow stoners,
I thought I was replying to your 'I need help' post Mikki but now I've started it looks like I'm on a new topic, oh well never mind, I can't help you anyway. I have been around that area, moons ago, never saw dem stones.
Thing is, I'm out!! bin in hiding for last few months, behind a rock, pistol cocked, and really missed you all. Somebody has to keep you in line and it looks like the task has fallen to me, no one else seems to be stumping up, so I gratefully accept the mantle!
I should have commented on various unwholesomeness recently but due to me being a 'hidden' member was unable to, so watch out peddlers of political bigotry, I'm on your case!
I'm really looking forward to seeing you all again, wandering around in the middle of nowhere looking for stuff that's probably not there, god knows why but it appeals to me. Story of my life. Not true, I'm an optimist,it is there, just not found it yet!
    Rambling now.
Bought a new tent last year that I really love and hardly used so lets hope next years weather is an improvement on last and we can do some bimbling together and discover some treasure!
Lets make this new year a good one by being kind and loving to everyone we come into contact with, it brings happiness into the world.
    Rock on.

We're thinking of spending 3 days at a site in either North Yorkshire, or near Shap, in February. As long as She aint pissing-it-down too much, we're not fussed about the night-time sub-zeros - tbh, the frost & snow's much easier to deal with if you're camping. D' y' fancy joining up when we sort the dates out? If anyone else is into it, gizza shout. Anyone know worrit's like for off-the-track woodland and camp-sites near Shap?

Hi Paul, good to hear from you again.
Dunno about camping in feb, bit scary! well used to my home comforts and I don't think Lenny will thank me for taking him away from his!
Don't mind a days bimble in the cold and damp but I think I'll leave the camping for warmer times.
I've camped a few times in the snow but my blood was thicker then, feelin the cold now sadly.............comes to us all you know.
I'm even wearing a coat writing this!
Oh, and listening to John Martyn, main man.
Congrats on the Rivock End finds, how do you do it? Excellent!
That cluster shows that they must have been formed from some practical purpose, had the cups been a design I'm sure they would have been symmetrical don't you?
See you soon, give my love to Mikki.
    Rod.

Paulus you sound like my old boarding school teacher who liked nothing better than going on long walks. He wanted all us boys to get thoroughly muddy from head to foot, and if you didn't, he'd arrange for a few of the older, stronger boys to help that along by covering the still clean boys with the offending mud and grime. And usually it was myself who tried to keep clean but ended up muddied up - much to my horror and total disgust. Now I prefer to keep relatively mud-free though sometimes I get a bit muddy in my persuance of old stones and earthworks - you name it - if its ancient then I'll go looking for it. Anyways hope you enjoy your ramble over the Yorkshire moors. I'll be thinking of you while I'm sitting in my warm, cosy house !
