i stopped at buxton a few months ago only to find the water shut off, some lame excuse about some nonesense.
I had just been to Arbor low, and agree there is a definate uplifting feeling there.
I am a dowser so look at these places with that to the forefront always.
i find two points in the sort of middle of there they are 233 inchs apart, one is detectable as having a clockwise spiral occurance the other the reverse, together they form a vesica pisces detectable pattern about them.
I suspect that the stones were designed to be upright and interact with the dual forces flowing about there, but it's all invisable, so few believe me.
Buxton itself was interesting to wander about dowsing, everyone is convinced I was looking for water, the water interacts symbiotically with the flows , the hydrogen is a carrier, capable of holding lots of either of the flows, keep the waters flowing there, not the dead stuff out of pipes.
