I heard about this yesterday, and my first thought were - "you lucky bastards!" And I note that the local mayor has also seen the benefits of Scottish rule pretty quickly, saying:

"It's clearly in the interests of Doncaster to be in Scotland: we'll get free prescriptions, free tuition for students and free care for the elderly."

Now what we need to to is get the rest of Yorkshire (and Lancashire, if the folk there are into it!) to be a part of Scottish Rule? Mebbe drag the Scottish border down to our part of the world and leave the english tories to keep bankrupting the people south of Sheffield - if they so wish. We could of course start building a new wall, like the Romans did, but this time we build it to keep the english tories out! (we could perhaps burn 'em when they cross the new Border - or use 'em in vivisection experiments) Laughing

Anyway - good luck to Doncaster! welldone

Yes Paul I'm with you all the way on this one. I hope Nelson is part of Scotland - we do have a Scotland Road. bounce
