    with other stone links from it. So I’ll just put the Stone photo’s with some extra onto TNA
    I put the blue marks 002,003,004 onto the map and my GPS from the TNA site then logged them when I was at them
    and as they’re touching – both accurate ! Note they’re all to the right of the track (going down)

    But before I got to the first (002) I spotted this one just above it on the left of the path and marked it 001

    005 was the dinner stop then 006 was back up the track through the gate and onto the moor

    Some excellent photos again Danny! When you were on this part of the hills, we'd ventured over onto t'other side, a few miles east. We ended up way off-path though, trudging across the usual boggy marhslands, burnt heathers and deep bracken. One of those bastard Cleggs gimme a good bite aswell - and got away with it!

    Back to the cup&ring photos: does the cup-marking on stone 006 have a faint ring around part of it?

    Sighting points perhaps ? I know of one like these at Windgather Rocks in Derbyshire.
