HOLOTROPIC DHIKR
WALKING TO KENOSIS
Walk the hills, walk the mountains, walk the streets, walk sky clad and do Holotropic (oriented towards wholeness) Dhikr (Zikhr, Zikr, Zekr – ‘thinking of’) when you walk. Fall into the movement of the recitation (‘Qi, Xin’ [air/breath & mind], ‘la ilaha illa ‘llah’ [There is no consciousness but consciousness],…or other chant) so that time and distance are no more and the climb and decent are no more, so you are at one with all and the illusion is no more. Holotropic Dhikr help us to empty ourselves to the nothing where only Baraka (the condiut to be one/whole) can come. Holotropic Dhikr brings about Kenosis.
Holotropic Dhikr is a gateway to a mysterious parallel world of joy, goodness, well-being, happiness and love, a world of silence, grace (Baraka) wisdom where thought, intelligence and foresight come into maturity; a world of certitude of insight.
The vibrational chanting is one’s own ‘ney’, the ‘song of the soul’, that brings a harmony between body, mind and spirit.
Holotropic Dhikr practice helps to ‘open up’ the true natural and innate potential energy within us, it is tranquillizing for mind, body and spirit, and through the exercise we enter a state of wholeness and oneness with the Cosmos.
When in a state of contemplative tranquillity we can ‘touch’ our own immortality.
