I am informed that the organizers expect over 3000 to participate in this event - CRAZY - as the parking at Barley & Newchurch will not accomodate such numbers.

I would suggest that if you are coming park at Sabden, Nick of Pendle, Downham or the Annel Cross cross road and walk up from any of those points. The 'walkers' expect to reach the summit by 12 noon, so give yourself ample time.

I will be walking up from Clitheroe via the northern escarpment - about two & a half hours steady walking.
