    Ilkley meet-up & Walk

Post  Paulus on Tue Sep 20, 2011 4:41 am

As Rod aint seen any decent cup-and-rings as yet, several of us are to meet up outside Ilkley train station this Thursday, around 11.30am. The short walk is gonna visit Panorama Stones, Swastika Stone, the Piper Stones and what may be a previously undiscovered settlement. A few others small bits & bats in between.

    Cheers - Paul

What a brilliant day Paul! thanks so much I really enjoyed it, I'm sure we all did.
Amazing cups and rings in a beautiful setting. I'll be visiting there again.
All those who believe cups and rings are Georgian or Victorian graffiti need their bumps feeling!
