    First find some Ocher

    then find a cave

    get a brew on

it's dark, so lights required and camera flash

    flash makes it too bright

    Banksy Bear !

it's all Bollocks but here's a real Poem from the 1920's

    E=MC2 by Rosser Reeves
Some day, perhaps, some alien eye or eyes,
Blood red in cold and polished horny lids,
    Set in a chitinous face
Will sweep the arch of some dark, distant sky
    And see a nova flare,
A flick of light, no more.
A pinpoint on a photographic plate,
A foot-note in an alien chart of stars
Forgotten soon on miles of dusty shelves
    Where alien beetles feed.
    A meal for worms,
    Sole epitaph
To mark the curious end of restless man,
Who for a second of galactic time
Floated upon a speck of cosmic dust
    Around a minor sun.

    cheers all (even Druids) Danny

That's a powerful poem Dan. Inspirational too.
It inspires me to think who I can tell that they have a chitnious face. Cool

Chitinous, in a word association context, the first to spring to mind is Cockroach ! maybe you know some ?

Chitin is a long, unbranched molecule consisting entirely of N-acetyl-D-glucosamine units linked by β-1,4 bonds. It may be thought of as cellulose in which the hydroxyl groups on the second carbon are replaced with NHCOCH3 groups. Chitin is considered to be synthesized in nature by an enzyme which is capable of effecting a glycosyl transfer of the N-acetyl-D-glucosamine from uridinediphosphate-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine to a preformed chitodextrin acceptor, forming the polysaccharide. This stepwise enzymic transfer results in the production of the long chain of β-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine units, which is insoluble chitin

Chitinous......A tough protective, semi transparent substance, primarily a nitrogen-containing polysaccharide, forming the principle component of arthropod exoskeletons and the cell walls of certain fungi.
Its amazing what you can remember from your schooldays!
    study Rod.
