Where abouts in Earby are you? I lived there some twenty years ago. It still seems a lovely place to live. I was really pleased that to see that the council has given up with the crappy 'Lancashire' signs on the way into Earby.

Remember when we went up here & you took us to the Eller Edge carvings...? Did y' get a grid-ref for this little fella?



Memory has us climbing over t' wall by the stream, then walking up the slope a little into the field, where a bittova natural mound was, and it was just above it, or therabouts. It looks like stone 429 in B&V survey, but not sure their grid-refs aint full-on with this one. Help!

Hi Paul check out the map post #5 Mark 2 and Mark 3 were the larger rocks and Mark 4 was the smaller one above them

is this the one you mean ? as allot of wine has flowed since
