WE thought that you might be interested in an event that is coming up in two weeks. As some of you may know, Amanda has a lovely piece of land on Goosefoot Lane in Hoghton, it is nearly 3 acres and shehas her two horses stabled there. She has 250 trees provided by the Woodland Trust arriving on the 26th November so she is going to have a tree planting day (they are only small twiggy trees) on Saturday 27th November. I think that it will be starting about 10am, there will be hot food and drinks available later on in the day. So if any of you would like to come along and share some time with the group (old friends and new) even if it is only for an hour, please bring a spade and wellies and join in. You will definitely feel as though you have contributed something to Mother Earth and helped Amanda and have a good laugh with us all !!

For more information or to let her know that you are coming along please contact LOWERGATE via this site.
