Prehistoric Cairn-field Discovered on Askwith Moor

Post  Paulus on Sun May 16, 2010 7:45 am

To those who aint see it yet, me, Dave and Bob were on Askwith Moor t'other day, bimbling about, and came across a previously unrecognized cluster of prehistoric burials, or cairns:

Some bloody beauts! We're up there again this week & next to have a more thorough bimble. As we were coming off the moor, there were other sites we found, but the daylight was betraying us and we have to leave 'em till our next visit.
