A standing stone has recently been erected by the Watermeetings in Pendle. This large stone is set within a grove of holly trees by the meetings of Pendle Water & Blacko Water.

For many years Watermeetings has been used for pagan gatherings where local witches and druid types frolic about sky-clad at the times of their festivals.
